Is there a free tier?

There is no unlimited free tier. Every new organization gets 2 min of generated video on signup at 720p (no card). Starter is $5/month per organization when billed annually (5 included minutes per month, 720p, one repo), or $5.75/month when billed monthly. Team is $24/month annually (25 included minutes, 1080p while your Team subscription is active, unlimited repos), or $27.60/month monthly. Overage is billed per minute beyond your included pool.

What does the Team plan include?

Team is $24 per organization per month when billed annually (25 included minutes each billing month), unlimited repositories, 1080p rendering while your subscription is active, and the full rules engine. Month-to-month is $27.60/month. Overage beyond the included pool is metered per minute.

What does the Enterprise plan include?

Enterprise is contract-only (no self-serve Stripe checkout). It typically includes custom minute pools, 4K rendering, priority rendering, SSO and advanced admin, and dedicated support. Contact support@diffvideo.com for pricing and procurement.

Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can change your plan at any time from the settings page. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing for the remainder of your current period. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Is there annual billing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Prices shown as “per month” on the pricing page are the effective monthly rate when you pay annually. Month-to-month billing is about 15% higher for the same plan.

What happens if I exceed my included minutes?

Before you subscribe, generation stops when your signup allowance is used. On a paid plan, minutes beyond your monthly included pool are billed on a metered per-minute basis (subject to your spending cap in billing settings). Upgrade from Starter to Team for a larger included pool, or contact us about Enterprise.

Do you offer refunds?

If you're unsatisfied with Diffvideo within the first 14 days of a paid subscription, contact support@diffvideo.com for a full refund. After 14 days, we offer prorated credits for the remaining billing period if you downgrade.

Question 8

Is pricing per user or per organization?

Accepted Answer

Plans are billed per organization (workspace), not per dashboard user. Usage is measured as minutes of generated video in the billing period. Dashboard collaborators are not charged per seat.

Question 9

Do you offer discounts for startups or open source projects?

Accepted Answer

The signup credit and Starter plan are available to everyone, including open source projects. For startups with specific needs, contact support@diffvideo.com to discuss options.

How does metered billing work?

Accepted Answer

Paid plans include a monthly pool of included minutes (total runtime of generated videos). Usage beyond that pool is billed per minute. You can set a monthly dollar cap in billing settings.
