Terms of Service

By accessing or using Diffvideo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Diffvideo is an automated video generation platform that connects to GitHub repositories and generates product videos from git activity including pull requests, commits, and releases. The Service includes automated video generation, rendering, a dashboard for managing videos, and sharing capabilities.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

The Service requires installation of the Diffvideo GitHub App on your GitHub account or organization. By installing the App, you grant Diffvideo read-only access to repository contents, pull requests, and metadata for the repositories you select. You represent that you have the authority to grant this access and that the repository contents do not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.

Your content. You retain all rights to your source code, repository contents, and any materials you provide to the Service. By using the Service, you grant Diffvideo a limited license to process your code for the purpose of generating videos.

Generated videos. Videos generated by Diffvideo are owned by you. You may use, distribute, and modify generated videos for any purpose. Diffvideo retains no ownership or licensing rights to your generated video content.

Diffvideo brand. Some plans may show Diffvideo attribution on public share and embed experiences. The Diffvideo name, logo, and brand assets are our intellectual property and may not be used without permission, except as they appear in generated video watermarks.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected during signup. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may be updated with 30 days notice. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for all applicable fees. Failed payments may result in service suspension after a 7-day grace period.

Refund requests within 14 days of initial subscription will be honored in full. After 14 days, we offer prorated credits for the remaining billing period upon downgrade.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to process repositories containing illegal content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the Service's proprietary software or systems
• Use the Service to generate misleading, deceptive, or harmful content
• Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse the Service in a way that degrades performance for others
• Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable advance notice of planned downtime when possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Diffvideo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may cancel your account at any time from the settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your access to the dashboard and generated videos will be revoked. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination to allow for account recovery, after which it will be permanently deleted.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
